The story
A simple question, a built answer.
It all started with a question from Marie, music teacher and founder of L.U.C.I.D.: how do you help students progress, with adapted exercises on demand, while measuring their progress and matching difficulty to their real level? Her need was concrete: a tool for her students, alongside her teaching, not in place of it.
The answer is the ZDP engine: an adaptive learning system we designed and coded together, registered with the French IP office (INPI) in May 2026. Built for music, it applies to any domain where progress can be measured.
I’m Cedrik Razafimanantsoa, a certified Product Designer (RNCP, The Design Crew) and iOS developer. Before that, 16 years in AAA gaming: Blizzard, HoYoverse, KRAFTON, Ubisoft, Quantic Dream. I’m also the typical user of my own apps: amateur classical singer, music lover, no formal music theory training. The need Marie had for her students, I have for myself.
